Dakota Willick
President &Â Co-Founder
Dakota has been a Kin Canada member since 2016, where she joined her first Campus Club at the University of Calgary. Quickly interested with Kin and its values, she transferred to the University of Victoria in 2017 and was disappointed to find no Campus Club in the area. In 2018, she, alongside co-founders Elizabeth Rohlicek and Samantha Hoogstins, successfully created a club that turned into treasured friends thanks to a group of like-minded students who equally care for their Victoria community.
Dakota will be graduating from the University of Victoria in the summer of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and hopes to pursue a career in Indigenous relations and Sustainable Development. She is a strong believer in the power of positive attitude and helping those in need and hopes to develop her experiences through community work to create a more positive world. As this is her graduating year, regrettably it also marks her final year as President of the Kin Campus Club, though she will always continue to be Kin. Dakota is incredibly proud of the club’s persistent success and is excited to see the next generation of Campus Club Kin taking on the great pride of being active community members.

Elizabeth Rohlicek
Vice President & Co-Founder
Elizabeth, or Liz as all her associates call her is a a third year student at The University of Victoria, studying Biology and Earth and Ocean Science. She is originally a resident of Montreal, but fell in love with Vancouver island as soon as she moved to Victoria to study her respective programs. She enjoys spending her weekends (that aren’t packed with studying) hiking, horseback riding, skiing and discovering new beaches and other 'hidden gems' on the island. KIN means a lot to her; the community and projects she's been a part of have allowed her grow as a person through each endeavour.

Vice-President
Quentin McShane
Quentin McShane is vice-president of the Uvic Kin Campus Club. He is currently taking a combined degree in Biology and Psychology hoping to graduate within the next decade! He grew up on the island playing all types of sports but mainly focusing on hockey, which allowed him to see a lot of Canada. In his spare time over the summer, which was very limited he enjoys working on his old cars and take them to local car shows with his fathers friends. Quentin joined Kin last year to give himself a sense of purpose outside of school and to help the surrounding community's greatest needs. Last year so much was accomplished, and he cannot wait to see what we can achieve this year.

Ashley Young
Registrar
Ashley is a third-year student at the University of Victoria where she is studying Geography and Environmental Studies.  Ashley enjoys finding time with her busy school schedule to go mountain biking, paddle-boarding, hiking and skiing, but most of all she enjoys doing all of these activities with a grilled cheese in-hand. Â
This is Ashley's second year with Kin. Â Her passion for community support and volunteering drove her to be more involved and take on the role of Registrar. Â Ashley's future ambitions are to continue her enthusiasm for the environment and to one day be involved in Coastal Conservation within Canada.

Treasurer
Cole Philip
Cole Philipp, is a fifth year Biochemistry Major in the process of completing his honours thesis on neurodevelopment proteins at the University of Victoria. Originally from Yellowknife, NWT, but now he has lived on the island for eight years. Tyra is a Third year Biology student concentrating in Marine Biology at the University of Victoria. Her passions and dedication to the environment and marine invertebrates drives her through her studies. In her spare time, Tyra loves to read various novels and literature, cook delicious foods, and hike various locations around Victoria.Â
This is Tyra's second year with Kin and she's very excited to do all the work she can for the club.  Tyra's decided to take on an executive position this year as it will allow her to be more involved within the Kin and local communities of Victoria.  She looks forward to being able to work alongside her fellow Kin-mates to better the community and make change throughout our projects and events.

Social Media Director
Samuel Sorokovsky
Sam is a Third year student at the University of Victoria. His field of study is Geography and Environmental studies specializing in Physical Geography. His passion for the environment and people is what drove him to not only join Kin Campus Club, but also take on an executive role. This is Sam's first year with Kin, and he's very excited to support the club and local communities throughout Victoria and greater area. Â
Sam enjoys purchasing and taking care of plants, so much so his home is referred to as a jungle frequently. His zeal for sustainability and the environment drive him to reduce waste, especially food waste, in his life wherever he can. Sam loves to cook, hike and explore the island, as well as dance (so much so he ripped over 6 pairs of jeans last semester). Sam hopes to start a company focussing on sustainable design and construction of homes, putting the environment above all else.
