On December 4th, 2018, our Kin Campus Club was set up outside the McPherson Library at the University of Victoria. The P. A. S. S. Tent was for Panic, Anxiety, and Stress Solutions-Mental health awareness. Our goal was to help students cope with stress and anxiety that comes at this time of year: finals season.

We handed out the essentials for this time of year: everything from coffee to popcorn to stress balls. Here's a complete breakdown of what he managed to give away:
200 cups of coffee 216 packs of excel gum 186 bags of popcorn 200 stress balls 20 packs of crayons/colouring sheets 100 earplug packs

We ran the tent for 3 hours and got students talking about the importance of checking in with themselves during this stressful time. Mental health is often pushed aside on campuses, but it is not something that should come second to your academic career. Check in with yourself and your friends, and ask for help if you need it.

We would like to specially thank TD Canada Trust, Suncor, and the Canadian Coast Guard for their donations for this event.
